Having to rebuild my shortblock, what compression should I use for a hot naturally aspirated Street motor?

pump gas, 11:0 to be safe.

You can run 11:1 on pump.

When you guys are referring to 'good gas' are you meaning 91 or 93? Cause all but maybe a few stations around here sell 93 as their premium...

What kind of HP and TQ increase would an otherwise stock engine see with 11:1 compression? What is the stock compression ratio on 99 & 01 cars?

rule of thumb is that for every point of compression, you gain 15 hp

9:85:1 for 96-98, 99-01 Cobras.

:confused: By this do you mean that for every extra 1 or .1 of compression you get 15 hp? ie, will you get ~15 hp by going from 10:1 to 10.1:1 or to 11:1?

how high compression if you drive around 80 miles daily?

Wylde, the general rule is 15-20hp per full point of CR raised.
