Just looking for a little base info here. Want to fuel inject my 67 stang. Wandering what stand alone harness will work for me and where to get it. Looking to use a stock a9l computer and will likely swap in the blown 302 out of my 90lx. want to stay with the maf and lose the egr altogether. Also, would this let me use an AOD trans if i change to an auto computer. My 67 is an auto and i would like to change it to an overdrive if i do the efi. Just curious, i know i can always wire an OD switch and make it work seperately.
Anyone done this here? How hard is the harness to wire into a hotrod or originally carbed car? Thanks

How hard it is depends how much you know about wiring honestly..

I would personally go with a painless wiring harness (they have one that will connect the fox ECUs from what i recall)

That would IMO be the easiest way to do it

Having done the conversion myself, I can't reccommend the Painless harness.
A better plan is to study the information on http://fordfuelinjection.com/ , if you decide to buy a harness Ryan's are the best bang for the buck.
This site http://www.midnightdsigns.com/james/ is just about the most complete site for ECCIV EFI into a classic Stang JamesW & I did much the same thing.
And on the AOD check out;

The manual ecu will work just fine with the auto trans...

The fox ecu's don't directly control the trans.

Thanks for coming through again guys. I checked the options and now am saving up the loot. I'm sure I'll be back on here for some other suggestions. Sam
