Are there many cars out there running this setup?

I'm looking into it, but i'm wondering if there are any reliability issues or if there could be any future issues down the road.

Also, would there be any disadvantage to running billet i-beam connecting rods in a mostly street driven car, other than the cost?

Mine is running like a champ and you can't go wrong with billet rods.

What have you done about your auto tranny to make it hold that kind of power?

Actually, my stock tranny didn't hold up all that well. I got a PA fully manual valve body, cooler, and 4200 stall converter. It held up the past year, but there was metal in the fluid and the 2nd to 3rd shift got slow. I just got a new PA SuperComp 4R70W tranny.
