Looking to see if anyone has a top shifter plate assembly from an old parted out trans lying around.
I bought a basket case faceplated original TKO and I'm returning it to street trim. When trying to get it all buttoned up I've discovered that the face plating process also required moving the orientation of the shift forks and drilling new holes into the shift rails. So the stuff I have is not compatible with an OEM setup.
I had hoped that finding a used one would be better than buying two new forks and rails.
I used to see these all the time on eBay, but now that I'd like to buy one there are none to be found.
