I have a tremec 3550, and when Im releasing the clutch I sometimes hear a clunk sound come from the rear... It doesnt always do it, but the only time it happens is when Im releaseing the clutch to go into neutral, or releasing from going through the gears... Stock driveshaft, stock 8.8 rear w/ 2.73's (Had an AOD). I have a new 8.8 rear with 3.73's in it, will this make a difference?

mine does that too.

I am hoping the new aluminum driveshaft I just ordered will solve that problem, as well as the vibration I have had since having my 3.73 gear installed.
