You should be able to squeek better times than that out of your combo. I ran a best of 15.1 with:
Stock 2:73's, hard Michelin Pilots and one wheel burn (slippin limited slip).
Stock heads and old stock valve springs
92k miles on it
underdrives
CAI and 70mm TB
Rear Mac upper adjustable control arms and fixed lower control arms
Heavy stock convertible still with dogbone and front headlight weights

...you should be able to do alot more than squeek out better times....your car is off at least 10mph and 1.5sec. Something is very wrong and its time to find out what.

Something is VERY VERY wrong to not run better than that... I don't see a higher capacity fuel pump in your sig???? If you don't have one and even if you do have one you are probably very lean.... YOu need to find the problem before you hurt something

I hate to say this but your track times are off big time, something just does not fit. I ran the same times with only pulleys, superchip, flowmasters, and c&l 76mm. Your car is stock a 15.2 sec car. Something just does not add up. I was running street tires (just a side note). I am putting a x pipe on soon to see what I run.(taking off smog and cats) You might want to tune the car up and take it and have it put on a computer. Make sure you timing is also set right. I don't know what to tell you but you should be in the low 14's with your combo

My estimate is consistent low 14's 14.1-14.2 all day at 3500 feet.

Below 500 feet and kind temps you should be in the high 13's.

i went 14.5 @ 96mph with just an off road x pipe and level 10 AOD... however I raced at sea level. I did this on a 95F day (very humid as well).

Timing is at 15 Degrees
A/F mixture is damn near perfect, a little rich bottom end but other then that it's really good. Fuel pump is stock. Fuel filter has 10,000 miles on it.

I cleaned my MAF sensor the other day
Next I will try a new cap and rotor even the the ones I have in there are MSD and are only a year old.
I am gonna pull the plugs tommorow
I don't know what the hell is wrong with it:confused:

Turn the timing back to 10 to see what happens. For some reason the 94-95 dont like timing the same way the foxes do. Also run the plug gap at .040. My 95 went 92mph with 3.73 geard and stock everything else. And that was at 4000 feet. If you are looking at the A/F ratio with a wideband then great. If you are useing the stock O2 sensors and a gauge then you are wasting your time. What do you have the fuel pressure set to? Should be around 38-40 with no vacuum.

Question -- what intake are you running? That motor looks pretty stout, but I don't see what intake. God forbid you're running the stock intake, then you won't see hardly any gains from the rest of it. You just didn't list it, that's all. :D

Definitely should see better traps...

I have Bosh plat +4 plugs from last season should I toss them and get something else?
Fuel pressure and timing where set on the dyno. I think the fuel pressure is around 48 maybe
Still has the stock intake on it:barf: funds ran short with me blowing up t5's :(

well a stock intake certainly isint helping. But you should be trapping well over 92mph no matter what intake is on the motor

The stock lower flows a whopping 140 cfm (per tmoss), it's the biggest bottleneck on a *stock* engine, much less a modded one. I think that's most/all of your problem, and you're not going to see much better until it's solved. You could find a stock lower locally for a few bucks, and send it off to tmoss for porting -- I think he gets them up to ~190 cfm, for $125-150. Not perfect, but awesome for anyone on a budget.

I trapped 96 mph when I was almost 100% stock. But track conditions and driver technique could account for the difference.

Shop around for a cheap used Explorer.....might be the best bang for your buck especially if you are on a budget! You'll also need an elbow (don't get a Mac one....I returned one....the casting was so bad it was shaped like an egg...not an assymetrical sphere). You'll need an elbow down the road for most of bigger intakes anyway.

I agree that the stock intake is KILLING your top end and track times. The stock upper flows mid 190cfm range but slap the lower on it and the whole intake is lucky to average 140cfm.

A used Explorer is a good budget choice (get 95-early97 with internal EGR if you need emissions stuff) or I can port your lower for you. Follow the link in my signature for more information.

OUCH!... There is most if not all of your problem... I picked up 15 at the wheels with the stock heads and such still on the car by putting a cobra on!!(before i did my heads etc)

ALSO FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH I HAVE A EXPLORER INTAKE FOR SALE I WILL TAKE $240 SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR.!!! I have many references...

I remember a dyno test a few years back on a 94 or 5 gt in MM & FF where they took a car and did all the bolt ons while running it on the dyno.. The car only picked up like 15 horses at the wheels with ALUMINUM heads ,cam etc.. WITH THE STOCK intake. BUT after installing a cobra it picked up over 50 more!!!!!!!!

In other words i am betting you would pick up at least 40 plus horsepower and quite a bit of trap speed..
