Can someone please help me out here? I am wondering if it is possible to drain the torque converter in a 92 5.0 AOD, if so how can it be done, when I drop the trans pan I noticed I only drain about 3/4 qt how can I get the rest out of the torque converter? I have looked around but cant seem to find anything on the AOD, even went to the tccoa web site, but I think that is for an AOD-e?
thanks for taking the time to read my post!!!

take the pan down, and rotate the crank so that you spin the converter clockwise, notice the 4 studs and nuts that hold the flywheel to the converter, now next to one of those studs and nuts, you should see a drain plug for the converter itself, becareful with it so that you don't strip it and drain the coverter from there

good luck
