I plan on running a 28in slick and 26in street tires and I want this thing to be crazy off the line  what about 3.73 or 4.10?

I'm running 3.73s and wish I had something a little steeper. 4.10's or 4.30's. Either way, with the 3.73's I haven't had a problem with my nitrous systems and running out of gear, of course that would change with a gear swap.

Then, obviously, you must not be using a stock shortblock and cam. The stock cam stops pulling at 5400rpm and with spray there is no way you will make the traps in 4th. Even with an E cam, which only pulls to 5700 at most , you would never make the traps with 3.73's and spray. I used an X cam once and 4.30 gears and had to shift it at 6300 just to make the traps with 26" tires.

i don't know if i would go that big, i have 4.30's in my race car on 28" tires. on the 408 i had, i was at 6500 in 4th when i crossed but that was at 125 mph too. it all up to you but i would definitly go with a 3.73 or maybe a 4.10. its all about what you set your motor up for, just get all the info you need and do it right the first time

I ran 3.73's and that was just right for a bolt on stang with a 100-125 shot of nitrous....i'd cross the trap at 105 and my top speed in 4th was 115 with the 245/45/16 (24 inch tires)

if you plan on every taking a trip on the freeway with the car 4.10's would be a bit to much and 4.30's you'd be in the 55mph lane in a 75mph zone...
