Just trying to verify something.
I'm in the process of upgrading the heads on my 96 GT to the PI Heads, they're at the machine shop right now. What I needed to know, since they asked me; do I need to notch the pistons in my stock bottom end for the new cam going in? Cam specs are below in picture.

If I do need to notch my pistons am I better off to notch the stock pistons that have 190k on them and I will likely replace next winter when I rebuild/forge the bottom end, or should I buy new pistons/etc and get those ones done?

Those have enough duration that they will need notches. If you are that far in the engine, I’d go ahead and put rod and pistons in it now instead of tearing it down twice.
