Hey guys, I did a quick search and came up with this:

"Evacuate A/C, take out console, glovebox door, lower heat deflector, blower fan. Remove electrical, vaccum, and cable connections. Remove nuts at firewall, heater hoses, pull out heater box under dash.

Replace heater with core with a Ford unit (yes, it costs $70 but is MUCh better quality than Advance, Autozone, etc). Might as well clean the evaporator while you are there.

Now, everyone, sing along with me...

INSTALLATION IS THE REVERSE OF REMOVAL." --Puter

Anyone have any other helpful tips? I got the heater core shipped brand new from Southwest Ford for $47! I plan on installing the restrictor valve in the inlet hose. Any tips for heater box removal?

thanks,
Chris
