Help,
I'm trying to locate some new TIE ROD ENDS for the Flaming Rack setup...I purchased used. The studs were stripped and I need to get new ends, but the auto parts store I went to gave me some ends (they didn't look the same).
Help me find the correct part # and the parts store that carries them, so I can get this car on the road soon.

I just got my Flaming River manual rack/kit and the tie rod ends are labeled part# FR1603 (outer ends for FR1503) You may want to give D&D a call, as they sell them individually and may help on the part#'s. I don't know their # off hand, but look in the mag's. Good luck.

I had to replace one that got cross-threaded. I got one from Autozone for a 79 Mustang with manual steering that looked exactly like the ones from FR.

I had the same experience as RTZ. I bought a manual rack for a 79 Mustang. It was shorter than my power rack but the FR tie rod ends were shorter than my stock power ends. I ended up using my stock ends. I can only assume that FR uses a longer manual rack.
