Just finishing this conversion on my '90. Pretty straightforward overall - I rebuilt both calipers, replaced brake lines, used the '94 GT caliper hoses, etc. This is also matching up to the SVO brakes (and MC) I have up front.

Just curious what some of you guys that have done this are using for a brake booster? I still have the '90 booster in but have heard the SN-95 booster offers better feel? Anyone have $.02 on this? I have had this car in the garage for almost two years and recall the brakes having a firm pedal before the rear disc conversion. Since the engine is also out, the booster swap would be real easy now! Any inputs greatly appreciated.

Stock, mustangs have a soft pedal.

basically you have to match things up. If you go with a 1" or 15/16" bore, then keep the stocker.

If you want to find the cheaper and easier to find 94-98 GT/V6 1 1/16" bore unit, get the booster with it.
