Hey guys:
Just bought my '96 Cobra with 12K on it. I'm taking it on a long trip tommorow so I decided to wax the front bumper and part of the hood so it would be easier to get the bugs and stuff off when I got back. I gently washed the area then put some of that Mequire's wax on it. But I noticied some fine scratches on the front bumper over the license plate holder. My car is white. What should I do now? I'm planning on buying some of that Pro Glaze and Scratch fixer tommorow. Maybe use the buffer on it. I don't understand how the scratches happened! Think they'll buff out? What wax you reccomend for it? I don't care if I have to use 5 different waxes to fix it!!! How about some of that white colored wax? Does that stuff work?

If they are light, use a 2000 grit with water and then 3M fine cut, to bring back the gloss.

Go slowly check every three or four passes, If they appear to being removed, check every one or two passes. If they are deeper than the clear, painting will be needed.

Good Luck

Never tryed that colored wax, as it would only be a temp at best in my opinon.
