Been around for 2 decades should have done this years ago. I've had this car since I was 19. I purchased it in June of 00' from it's second owner. I've had 4 engines and I've lost track of how many transmissions. Most of my friends all built drag cars. While I played the game with them, I didn't build it for it. My goal from the start was not just drag racing but all sorts of driving types. When I first brought the car home it had 3.73's and Flowmasters. 68k miles. Now it has 208k.

Over the years I have participated in the following motorsports...

Street Racing (now very retired from that)
Drag Racing for seasonal points racing brackets. Best ET from the car was 11.49 @ 123 (previous 347 setup)
Autocross.
Open track at Miller Motorsports Park, now Utah Motorsports Campus. My current passion and main "fix".
Roll racing at UMC.
Officially in the 130 club at the Bonneville Salt Flats World of Speed event.
It's also been featured in a few promotional segments for Utah Motorsports Campus.
Next on the list, Silver State Classic.

The use with the car currently is 90% street cruiser and hauling my daughter around town, 2-3 open track days a year, roll racing, and maybe get out of state to a 1/4 mile again (Ours closed in 2018) Occasionally if I'm brave I will take long road trips with friends.

Current setup:

1990 Mustang GT.
Dart SHP 363 originally assembled at Fordstrokers in 2013. (I purchased second hand in 2020)
TFS 205 11R heads 66cc, 9.3:1 comp, -14cc dish 2618 Wiseco pistons, H-beam rods, Compstar crank.
Intake: Edelbrock Super Victor EFI 8.2 with 3848 elbow and 75MM TB.
Cam: Custom from Cody Aston at Premier Performance in Utah. 227/239 .587/.587 114.5 + 5.
ECU: Holley Terminator X ECU, Holley Dual Sync Distributor. Tuned via laptop.
Supercharger: Vortech Si trim V1 gearset. 3.47" upper, 7" Lower, Around 10.5-11psi of boost.
Fuel: Pro-M hat, -8 feed -6 return, 450lph driven via PWM, 60lb FIC injectors.
Exhaust: 1 3/4 BBK headers, Dr gas X-pipe, Magnaflow mufflers, Flowmaster tail pipes.
Drivetrain: Fidanza Billet Steel flywheel, Spec 2+ clutch, SBF Specific T56 transmission, D&D driveshaft, 3.55's.
Brakes: Brembo GT500/Cadillac size 4 pot fronts, Stock 94-04 Cobra Rear, 1995 GT Master Cylinder, stainless lines. SN95 rear axles.
Suspension: Front, MM front coil overs, 275lb 12", 03 Cobra struts. Rear, Bilstein shocks, MM torque arm springs, MM Panhard bar, MM jacker XD control arms, stock style uppers. Eibach front and rear swaybars.
Wheels: 17x9 24mm front, 17x9 36mm rear. 255/275 F/R

Only dyno so far with Dart when I first got it running, 622rwhp @ 6600, 527tq @ 5600. Current redline is 7200. Usually shifting at 7k.

The interior is modified a little here and there but I've tried hard to keep things stock-ish looking. I'll get photos of it later.

Below are photos are at various times. It no longer has any Saleen text anywhere other than the 200mph SSC dash cluster. Still has the stripes. I had a good friend that absolutely hated them when I bought the car. I decided to keep them on just to piss him off. Last 2 pictures are how the car currently sits.

I've posted various events on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_ewGfPui0rHzUjB9x8eyAA/featured

That's all I can think of now. I'll edit as I go.

Here's how the car currently sits. After dealing with an overlash situation with rockers that broke two valve springs, I got the car back together. It drove great for a week, I didn't get on the throttle at all. I finally decided to give it the beans and the timing chain let go around 6500-6600rpm. Got it torn down and all inspected, bent the #6 Exhaust and #3 Intake valves. Hopefully I'll have time Monday to finish taking it apart and getting the heads off.

My assumption is that when I had my valve float issue it just beat the hell out of the timing chain and components. Then they finally let go once I railed on it again. I'll get the heads off, fixed, and hopefully pistons are OKAY. When I used a bore scope I found they did kiss but the marks on the pistons are pretty small.

Nice! Best of luck getting it back up and going. Where did you get the wheels? I don't ever recall seeing saleens available in 17x9 but I wouldn't mind a set.
I actually bought them something like 12 years ago from another member on here. There were a few aftermarket wheel companies that made 17x9 with an S197 offset for a limited time. Which work perfect for SN95 axle swap cars. You can still get the 17x9’s with 22-24mm offset but not the 36mm ones.

That cabinet next to the right quarter is full of stuff. I do detailing/corrections as a side gig.
Do you make house calls? :D
I just bought a new F150 and need paint correction and ceramic coating. I was quoted $2k with a 10yr warranty. Too steep for me.

Grey shift ball photos are most current.

Seats are Corbeau LG1 with 5 point cam lock harnesses. Roll bar is an MM 6 point with removable door bars.

The Sport Comp autometer gauges have a satin flat paint to get rid of the silver on the bezels.

Stereo is Pioneer AVH series. Kenwood components front, 2 way rears. Driven by a compact 4 channel amp mounted where the original ECU was. Subs are in a custom made to fit speaker box with 2 infinity 12’s driven by a Kenwood 7202 bridged amp.

I recently experienced valve float. It hammered the valves pretty good due to incorrect valve springs for boost. The valves and seats survived; thankfully. Both the valves and seats needed some dressing. At the higher rpm's that you run; I can't even imagine. It stinks but live and learn.

Good question. I’ll post a build for that too. It’s the unsung hero in my garage.

Heads are back. Here’s the two bent valves. Glad I took them in. He said my exhaust valves were heavily carboned up. I’m just taking my time on this. Still need to order the new timing chain. Got everything else.
