the tee that autometer sent me would work perfect with no cutting on the end of what looks to be a vacuum tree behind the passenger shock tower, the tee looks to have a vacuum line that runs from that to the smog pump air injection lines. or do i have to use a vacuum line at the main vacuum tree, or one directly off the upper manifold? in that case, i'll have to cut a vacuum line and fit the ends over the barbs of the tee.

thanks,
j

I had my FMU hooked up to the vac. tree on the driver side of the firewall. My car was running VERY lean after the first night at the track, so I assumed that the FMU wasn't seeing full boost. I moved it over to a manifold source and it took care of my lean problem. So I would suggest teeing into a line straight off the upper intake.

As a suggestion, there is a good size vaccume line that runs out of the front of the upper intake, across the motor to the charcoal canister on the passenger side of the car. I tee'ed my FMU and Boost gauge into that line.
Hope that helps
