Anyone performed a T-5 or Tremec 3550 conversion on a 67-68 Stang?

If so, what was the hardest part?

I have a C-4 in my car now. I hate Auto's

Just trying to decide on the Motorport Z trans or the Tremec 3550

Thanks.

Hardest part is the clutch pedal and associated linkage BS. There are more T-5 swap parts out there then for the Tremec so the T-5 would get the nod for me. I helped put a T-5 in a buddys 68 Falcon. It was allready a 3-speed manual but it was still well worth it. Made the car a lot more fun.

I converted my Mach 1 from C-6 to toploader 4-speed and love it. Hard on drivers side motor mounts though.

I just finished a c4 to t-5 conversion, and the hardest part was the cable clutch install. Now the clutch works good but I can't use the wipers at the same time as pressing the clutch because the arm from the motor touches the cable, waiting till it gets a little warmer to tackle that.

I am in the process of doing the conversion. Got my 4spd out but I have to change headers due the cable.... I am going to HIPO manifolds and new exhaust...
