I works, but it gasses it to wherever it's set & coast about 1mph slower & gasses it back to the set point continously.
I've tried different clip positions to no avail. any ideas. BTW I have plent of vac at 2200-2800 cruise rpm.

Should be an easy fix, shortening the effective length of the actuator cable. If you pry the throttle cable and CC actuator cable off the bottom of the throttle body bell crank you can remove a clip from the plastic end of the actuator cable, shove the cable farther into the end, and reinstall the clip. Clip it all back in place and I bet the problem goes away.
