I just wanted to warn you all that if you install a harmonic balancer (vibration damper) made by Summit, that you will need to file down one of the bolt holes on the water pump (the lower right hand one) to get it on. This is NOT listed in the instructions.

I didn't know that and it scraped up my balancer pretty good. Anyway, it's on now and works great. The Summit piece looks to be pretty good quality, just make sure you follow this tip.

Thanks man...I'm installing a FMS balancer tommorow...I'll keep it in mind in case it is the same on the FMS...did you run a spacer, any other install tips..did it slide right on the key way and bolt down?

After I baked the balancer in the oven, and ground down that bolt part on the water pump, it basically slid right on.

I might have to get a new one though, because my timing marks are gone.
