I noticed that the large washer beneath the main nut on my driver side strut mount (no CC plates) can spin freely. The passenger side is much harder to spin. The shocks and struts are Tokico HP (blue) units and relatively low mileage. No experience with struts per se, but I admit that I've heard odd popping sounds occasionally and thought maybe it's time for new struts and/or strut mounts.

I tightened the nuts at the top of the strut towers and it seems to have cured my issue, although a close inspection of the upper strut mount bushings shows that they're in need of replacement (cracked rubber). Is there a quality replacement for these bushings that others can recommend? I was looking at Energy Suspension 4.7114 and 4.6103 in urethane.

So I ordered some of these polyurethane upper strut mount bushings from Energy Suspension and am curious if anyone else has done this. I'm still running stock style struts (Tokico HP).
