I took my 89 shortblock to the machine shop to get it honed and reassembled. but the hone would miss the top of the cyllinder wall and would not give me enough of a good seal. I didn't want to send the block to .030 over cause I had another.

The crank and rods and pistions are fine. The whole setup was sripped and hot tanked.

I have no use for it now and need to pick it up from the machine shop so no pics yet.


Give me $150 and you can have the block and rotating assembly.

I was told from the machine shop that the block was square and did not need to be decked....

would u sell just the block alone? if so, how much would u want for it? i'm only like 30 min north of u, i'm down there all the time. let me know, i could come get it if the price is right..
