Anyone stretch a 255/60/15 drag radial on a 15x10 wheel? What is the height of the tire? Would it be a good idea on a weekend street strip car? Black weld rts 15x10.275 6.5 back space No screws or headlocks (very expensive) just high tack glue. If anyone have pics they would be great too.

I had a set of 15x8 with a 255/60/15 and they fit great on a lowered car but got a smoking deal on 15x10s I want to run the 275/60 but the car will drop down about 1.5" due to the team z rear springs

I had 15x8s with 255/60/15 Drag Radial and then went to a 15x9.275 and 27x10.50 ET Street. Looks a lot better! Going send the RTS to Weld or Champion and get Bealocks now

Not exactly what you're looking for, but I had M/T 255/60/15 drag radials on 15x9.5 wheels and they didn't look stretched at all in my opinion. The wheels are 9.5" wide with 6" backspace.

Literally. ;)
I got the tires put on the rims. They are stretched some but not as bad as I thought it would be. I will have them on the car tomorrow but I think its safe to say that they will work on 10 inch wheels.

Oh and Dean if we lived closer we could chew the fat about mustangs all day lol. Thanks for the tires..

You're welcome. And I love talking about mustangs, modifications, racing, etc also.

Add some pictures to this thread when you have them on your car. I hope they look good and don't have any clearance problems for you.

That turned out great! It looks mean as hell with your front and back tires tucked under like that.

It may it may not. There's a guy on yellowbullet leaving a hell of a lot harder then I am and he's cutting 1.36 on 255/60 radials. Found a few pics with a 15x10 and a 27x10.5 and it looks to fit perfect
