Guys:

After adjusting the idle screw on my TB , it started to stick, now, I have to do neck snaping launches or bog the car and have it stall when ever I want to leave from a full stop.

When I step on the gas I can feel the resistance from the TB and the it frees itself and moves.

My car is an 86 GT (yeap its 16 years old), original TB , Ive already cleaned the TB with a rag, It had some major carbon deposit, I dont want to use WD40, since ive read that care must be taken when its cleaned .

Can anybody give me any solutions to this problem??

Tahnks in advance.

The sticking can be due to the deposits. You can get Throttle Body cleaner at the parts store. It is most likely due to the plate closing a little too much. Turn the screw out a little bit at a time until you don"t feel it sticking.
