I was having a problem with my aod, that when I come to a stop it doesn't seem to downshift fast enough. sometimes it comes close to stalling. It does it worse when the shifter is in OD and not as bad in D. someone on here said to check for a sticking governor. I have the governor out now and all the moving parts seem to move freely. If it was sticking what would I be checking for?

thanks, Mike

Mike, I thought I read on a supercoupe and cougar web site that down shift problems were from either t.v. cable adjustment or something sticking in the valvebody.
