I have installed a set of lower SSM Lift Bars on my 1991 stang years ago and now they are getting annoying and I don't want them. I threw out my stock ones. I was wondering if I can just use the SSM lower control arm and just eliminate the brackets? They seem to be nice/boxed/sturdy and have good bushings. Are they the right length or the same length as stock lower control arms? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,:)

With out the Brackets that may change sway-bar angle, check see will clear the rear end. And check where the coil spring seat, I believe may end up till forward too much cost the coil spring not seat right.

Good Luck. :)

You don't want to do that.

Besides screwing up the suspension geomerty it's gonna raise the rear of the car quite a bit too. Look at how much the spring perch is raised on the SSM bar.
