Yes I decided to not go through with it. To many inconsistencies so decided to relist the car and keep it going. Buyer informed me that he was a flipper and while that’s totally cool, demanding I take 350 off the already to low price for the air bag light flashing is absurd. It’s a 30 year old, all original paint vehicle. Not a brand new car. But good news is she is still for sale!Did the buyer back out? That’s a pretty big deal on BAT, and it appeared to be a repeat buyer.
Absolutely I actually sold quite a few on there and they were all straight forward simple processes. While I did enjoy the experience I refuse to give the car away.Understood and from the bid history, seemed like a flipper. There are a lot of dealers bidding on that site. I sold a car on BAT a few years back but it was a good experience.
While eBay entails a bit more Shenanigans with buyers, it doesn’t have a 6-8 week wait time so that was the plus to me. Allows me to set my price and forget it. Whatever the car sells for, someone is going to get a fantastic carMy understanding is its a better experience then Ebay??
Absolutely I’d have to agree, I do like the fact that there is so many pictures which I’ve always been accustomed to as it is what I would want to see buying a car. I also do notice sellers taking pictures that only show what they want to show as well so ultimately nothing is a better bet then laying eyes on it in person in my opinion. I have a few others I’m probably going to run on bat after the holidays pass.In my opinion it’s much better than eBay, and due to all of the pictures - they buyer knows exactly what they’re getting. I posted pics of the resto, etc… In the end, it’s only a good deal if it works out well for buyer and seller.
Due to the volume going through BAT currently; there is a good bit of wait time. When I sold my car in 2018, I only had to wait 2 weeks.
I appreciate your opinion but I disagree, prices for these cars are not going down. If that’s the case then certainly won’t be no spilt milk here if no one buys it you know. I’m not a used car dealer but a passionate collector who admires these cars for exactly what they are. If it sells then so be it, if not that’s ok to.Wow.. good luck... the global market has turned quite drastically over the last few weeks.
Prices are done going up and we've entered a disinflaionary cycle with fiscal tightening.
I actually think you had a sale at the "top tick"
Thank you very much, I’m going to be sad when this one goes. I’ll remember it forever. Congratulations on the new addition, with those problems I’m sure that sweet ride will bring plenty of thumbs up that even it out.Damn glws op.
I agree, prices are not going down. I paid a good price for mine. Purchased a few weeks ago. Now I'm dealing with 30 year old car problems.
Not much I can do about it now.
