A kind gentlemen - who is not big dogs, or affiliated with them sent me a big dogs cobra intake that has been ported. I’ll be replacing the box r intake on the car temporarily to see the difference.

I won’t get into the pissing contest, really here as a third party to make a comparison. Here are some pics of it compared to a factory explorer intake. All measurements are in mm.

This will be a strict a to b comparison deal. I’ll look at fuel flow and dragy times to see which one works the best. Engine is a woody built 347 with a f1r blower. Any ideas on which will come out on top?

If anyone wants any other pics or measurements, please Let me know and I’ll oblige if I can.

Obviously not, but you could have just done the testing without the announcement. Arguments still would have happened after, but at least your results would have been there and spoken for themself.
People literally make posts on here ever week asking about engines they’ll never build. I don’t see any point in crying because I laid out my plans before hand in a post.

The post started with good solid measurements. It led to boost measured. I fully expect it will continue along those lines. Props to 96pushrod. Some need to not be so emotionally fragile. I fully trust the good information is coming. I also fully understand the back-and-forth.

Yes.

Bought a house this year so it’s been a little busy. Mounted tires, went out last week to make a dragy hit and the trans tail housing started to piss fluid all over the exhaust. Ordered a new bushing/seal and borrowed the tool from a nice member on here. Replaced the yoke today, old one mic’d at 1.4971 and the new one is 1.4984 so hopefully that coupled with a new bushing/seal will solve that issue.

Tool will be here Wednesday so I’ll get the bushing installed on Thursday, then as long as we get some good weather I’ll get it on the road.
