What sensor is on the front of the lower intake on the driver's side? Because the shop that just fixed my car said that there was no temp sensor on the car (a code popped up) and so they added one on the passenger side, but before, i thought the one on the driver's side was it because it worked for me before? What's up? Could the sensor have just gone bad or what? Thanks again for all your help.

I think you are refering to the ACT sensor. There is an ECT sensor on the intake as well, engine coolant temp. for the EEC and a coolant sensor on the front passenger side of the intake for the gauge.

The sensor on the front is for water temp to the dash gauge. This would not cause code. The sensor for the computer is on the passenger side.
