In the 1 and a half year I had the car, I never had reset the computer. Last month I dropped some techron and then changed oil, and yesterday reset the computer. Well... it runs so good! At part throttle it revs much smoother and faster. I hope it stays that way forever..and my fear is that the computer will learn its thing and maybe adjust A/F ratio, i dont know!! What do you guys think?

Cheers

Well, I only pulled the negative side and let it rest like 20 minutes. Plugged in again and went to sleep:D
Next day, the car ran great, like ever. I suspect that the computer has not fully relearned all its parameters and A/F strategy.. because I never felt the car that good .. who knows.. hope it stays like that forever...
or maybe my car just learned to be like it was before..

some knowledge from anyone?

cheers

It will teach itself again. Maybe with different results but I doubt it. Also the car may learn different things depending on if it was started cold or warm after the reset.

You can also reset the EEC by pulling the fuse.
