Save $10 and get a free DVD by Preregistering. Thats a savings of $30!!!!! All preregistrations must be in by May 31st. We will not accept any checks that are post marked after May 29th. Please note that the costs on the website, they show the preregistered costs and day of event costs. Also note that your preregistration does not include Pit Passes.

So I still have to pay for a pit pass on top of the class pre-registration??? Or is it for extra people that you're talking about? Please clarify Dave. Thanks.

I'll be glad to explain. The Modular Shootout like many other National Events such as the NMRA, Fun Ford Weekend, and World Ford challenge setup their events in the following way.

Everyone (racers, racers crew, spectators etc) pay the track to get in (Pit Pass) when they come to the entrance of the gate of the track. Then, all racers/car show participants that want to register for a class goes to the registration tent in the pit area. They then pay the registration fee for the class.

This keeps everything seperate and eliminates a lot of confusion that would occur at the ticket booth.
This keeps the line at the gate down with fewer cars waiting to get in and a lesser wait time. The lady at the gate is not a part of our program and will not know what everyone pays.

We try to give racers an incentive to preregister to keep the registration line down.

For all the racers that prepay, all you have to do is pay to get (your pit pass) at the gate, then go to the registration tent and tell the registration people you are preregistered. You give them your name and you'll get all the forms you need.

Do those pre-registered for the car show get the DVD?
No, you get the $80 jacket and a set of pit passes valed at $30. In all you get $110 worth of stuff by registering for the car show.
