This has been happening for a while now. When I reverse and hit the breaks kinda hard the rear end pops real loud, and feels like a lump. Could something be broke????? When i reverse out of my driveway when the car is cold the breaks squeel loud too, and I'm not even touching the breaks at all. WTF???? Anyone know what this could be???? Could my power have broke something in the rear end. Or are my rear brakes messed up????

THanx,

Rob

Braking hard in reverse is the way you adjust the rear calipers. If your caliper pistons are sticking, then they might make a popping sound. The squeeling could be that they adjusted too close to the rotors. You should brake more gently unless you are trying to adjust them. If they get too close to the rotors, you'll have to remove them and screw in the pistons some to relieve the pressure.
