I have heard of two ways in which to read spark plugs:

1. clean the plug and look at the number of threads that are dark. two threads is suppose to be perfect

2. look at the porcelan and read the color

I am trying to find the right jet size. I do not run the track, but am looking for the best performance and the coolest running temps. Is there a way to properly tell by driving on the street ( hard burn out before pulling the plugs?)
