Hey guys I just recently bought a ‘93 foxbody, it’s a 5.0 swap and the guy swapped a lot of things from an SN95. I just recently had to replace the rack and pinion and the one he had in before was an SN95 rack and shaft. So I put a new SN95 rack in and it fit, but it’s a bit longer than the other one so I’m not sure if he cut a bit off the old one? Sorry I’m a bit of a newb still, so if someone could help me out or tell me if I’m doing something wrong

You just need to change the inner tie rods to the FOX body length, if you still have the original SN95 rack just take those inner tie rods and switch them to the new SN95 rack, you'll probably need a front end alignment afterwards.
