I have a question that most of you tech guys can easily answer ( I hope). I have a 90' GT that I recently removed the smog pump from (It siezed up). The car now has March billet underdrives and a short belt on it. My problem is the reoccuring "check engine" light and signal 94 codes that have resulted from me removing the pump. When I removed the smog pump, I also looped the air-injection tube that connects to the back of the heads over to the tube that goes down to the catalytic converters. (This is only temporary until new headers and H-pipe come in mail). Will this connection cause any problems? I would eventually like to eliminate any of the smog equipment that is not required for the EEC-IV and EFI to operate properly. Any constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
