I am running a set of motorsport springs and bbk upper and lower control arms, i want to put bigger tires on the back of the car. I am thinking of junking the quad shocks, any advice??

Still no guarantee you won't benefit from fresh ones. Dump them and see if you have a wheelhop issue, which you still might even with the new LCA's and UCA's. If you do, go to Autozone and get some Gabriel #14039's for $15 a piece and mount them "upside down" to gain more tire clearance.

what size of tire can i clear with flipped quads, on a 17*9 wheel would 275/45/17 fit??

I don't know for sure and there are a ton of variables, but I do know "widest tire on a fox" has been asked a lot and should turn up in a search pretty easy.

275/60/15 is the largest 15" you can do.. for sure (based on previous posts).

Thats what I have on my Welds...

No quadshocks though... wont fit.

I have 275x40x17 nitto 555 extreme mounted on 17x9 cobra R wheels. I put the quad shock on backwards before I even tried to put them on because the 255's I had on before had about .5" of clearance due to the quad shock. Haven't noticed a single thing about switching the shock.
