Well, I was snooping about this morning, looking for some T45 info, and discovered TTC has redone the website; cool!

The best thing is that all (well, most) of thier rebuild manuals are now available on-line in .pdf format. These contain the same info as the paperback manuals they sell for $8, and Hanlon/D&D get $16-18 for...

Try it! You'll like it!

Hope it helps some of you guys out, and you know good and well it'll become a link when I rewrite my T5 article...

D'oh!!!

I started to pm you the link as someone posted it last week but I thought you would have seen it. I'm going to attempt (again) to fix my leaking Tremec this summer. Have you rebuilt any Tremecs?

Erik,

Yea, I've done one 3550 to date, and will fix my leaking 3550 soon too...

I've been so intermittent here lately it's no wonder I'm behind, LOL! Oh well, I'll Ebay the manuals :D...

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the tip!

[OT]:

Moved again and now have a garage.

Finally have the diff in place, shimmed and ready to close up. As usual, I came up with a few tricks on how to set up the backlash just using feeler gauges, a piece of metal rod and the shim lapping method. Hope to hit the track this Wed, weather permitting.

How are things?

John
