This is on my brothers car so I haven’t seen it with my own eyes. He just bought and installed some wilwood rear brakes. The brake flange is sandwiched between the housing end and the C-clip eliminator. As of right now he used some regular black silicone between the brake plate and the eliminator and apparently it is leaking gear oil. Anyone have suggestions as to what might work better for this? Maybe gasket maker, or that gold high temp stuff?

TIA

Permatex Ultra Black is what I use. He is letting the rtv cure before putting the parts together isn't he? I belive Permatex suggests 15 min depending on weather conditions of course. Later. Dave
