Not trying to be a smartazz, but with the stock heads, cam and intake your AOD isn't going to run a 13.4, regardless of stall speed.

86 GT 100% Stock

60ft: 2.218
1/8 et: 9.673
1/8 mph 73.11
1/4 et 15.087
1/4 mph 90.75

Car is 100% stock with air silencer and paper filter intack.
Timing was set at factory 10*. Car was run on 205/60/15 Goodyears at 22psi. Shifted car at 4700 for best times above.

Next stage on car is free mods and low cost mods.

This car will be running 13.9s with $500 budget and NO power adders! Using mostly stock takeoffs from 87-up cars. (ex: Home Ported E7 heads and intakes) Gears, SC V6 Torque convertor, Shift kit and finally sticker tires at end of mods.
Exhaust will stay 100% stock as in 86 as well as fuel system.

Ive been challenged by someone right here at Corral that says it wont happen but Im sure gonna give it a try... 13.9s here I come with "stocker" LOL

POP! there goes my bubble. maybe i will get lucky with a tail wind and get a 13.499999. not many full wieght gt's like mine are capable of 13.9's with stock heads, intake and cam either so the car runs unuasually strong already. But i appreciate your honest opinion, and i will post times when i get it back.I will be happy with a .30 drop in time. thanks Scott

I would imagine that an AOD car would be say a half second behind where my car is right now with the same mods. I would imagine that you can drop near a half second with the proper convertor and gears in an AOD car with no problems.

well let's see.. you have a heavier car than the fox body, the 5.0's in SN-95 cars (I have heard) isn't enough motor to get that heavy of a car moving very well (but the 4.10s should have helped that out a little)... and add on top of that an even heavier AODE tranny. You also didn't say anything about larger mass-air meter of throttlebody.. that might be a big bottle neck on your car. You also didn't say anything about what kind of timing you are running.. and if you are spinning at all (you might need some drag radials or slicks) A converter will definately liven that thing up too!!!

Did I miss something in your mods? A 3.55 geared automatic, 76mm C&L, and an off-road h-pipe got you 13-flat @ 102 mph?? Is it just me, or does that sound incredible? How much does your car weigh? Thanks. Thomas, the Doubter... :)

I figured your car must have been gutted...

My mistake on the T5 - the original poster wanted AOD timeslips. Even so - the Corral HP estimator shows you're making 282 hp?? - with a stock 5.0 and only a 76mm C&L meter and an off-road H-pipe? I can certainly see cutting the 1.7x 60ft with slicks, but the 102.41 mph is just ???.

You know - there are 2 cars on the timeslip - you sure you're reading the correct side? :) Peace - Mark
