i was out looking at the sizes on my wheels now and think i bought the wrong size drag radials. the dr's are due to be delivered any time. the size on my car now are 225/55R16 and the size i ordered are 245/50R16....this is for the stock 16 in ponys...will the new ones fit?? thanks

Those tires will fit fine on your stock ponys. How you translate those numbers is as follows: the first number is the width of the tread in millimeters. So your new tires are 20mm wider than your old ones or about 1 inch. The second number represents the aspect ratio of the tire sidewall. Using your stock size as an example the sidewall height is 225 X .55 (width times percentage) or 123.75 mm. Your new tires are 245 X .50 or 122.5 mm tall. A difference of about 1.25 mm. So your new tires will fit just fine, they are 1 inch wider and virtually the same height.
