I did a 5.0/ AOD transplant in a 68 mustang using a 91 GT donor with AOD and a9P computer and AOD O2 harness. I cant get it to start. I grounded pin 30 to the battery instead of starter because after reading threads here I was petrified to fry my ECU. Wiring diagram says pin 46 is a ground for sensors and also needs to link with pin 30 to allow car to start. Do I just ground both together or do they need to be switched and the unswitched after starting. I am lost

Pin 30 is a monitor

in auto>connect 12v from crank on ignition switch
in manual>its spliced to the sensor ground circuits that goes to pin 46, through the clutch and gear switches in parallel

do not mix them up.........good enough.
