So I just picked up a PI intake from the junkyard and my non PI intake doesnt have these coolant hoses. What should I do, I assume the ect sensor can go into the bumg on the passenger side but im not sure what to do about the drivers side bung. also im attaching a picture of a sensor that I have no idea where it belongs.
I just got this 96 GT but its completely disassembled so ive got my work cut out.

That sensor is your EGR purge solenoid. As for the junkyard intake you picked up, I have no idea why there would be two hoses upfront there unless it was from a non-mustang application I’m unfamiliar with. On the 96 you’ll have two coolant temperature sensors one for the gauge and one for the computer. They can go in place of each small hose on either side of the junkyard intake. Be sure to use plenty of RTV sealant around the water jacket because of the gasket mismatch.
