I'm thinking about replacing my stock ignition coil on the 302 V8 (2-bbl 2150, Duraspark). I don't think it has been replaced for the past 5+ years and before that I'm not sure it was replaced either. My best guess is that it hasn't been replaced for at least 8 years.

I changed everything else: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc...

Which is a good replacement/upgrade?

Jacobs?

What about an ignition kit? Do they work as advertised? Something like a Jacobs Mileage Master Ultra Team? or MSD?

I'm trying to get better gas mileage and possibly more low-end power (idle to 3000 RPM).
Thanks
