Just pulled in the inlet off the turbo. It was dirty in there, but the turbo does spin freely. Some side to side play, very little in and out.

Parting Out '87-88 Turbocoupe 2.3T Engine/T5/Big VAM Trans/Accessories. I purchased it all in unknown condition. Most parts have sat outside for some time. The engine does turn over easily and builds compression. Oil looks good. Make offer on what you need. Everything sold as is. I believe the T5 has the cable style bellhousing, but I also have the correct hydraulic unit. I have no problem taking more pictures, providing as much info as possible. I'm located in Sparks, NV, but willing to ship at buyers expense.
