i have a p1sc on 8 pounds on a 2002 GT and if i am pulling hard in 2nd it will loose boost at around 5-5200 rpm but it holds boost most of the time up to 6000 in 3rd. if it starts to loose boost and i roll back into it really easy it will hold. procharger said it may be my blow off but it seems to be working fine and has a new diafram in it. the belt also seems to be tight and has a new tentioner due to a broke one. does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you replaced the belt? Do you see any belt marks, ie: belt dust on the under side of your hood?

no not tried replacin the belt yet. i have not noticed any dust, the belt feels good like its not all hard but it has some wear on it.

It slips every time in 2'nd, in boost?

yes and if it starts to slip i can back off the gas and get back on it very slowly and it wont do it but if i get on it hard in second it will do it and every now and then in 3rd but usualy holds in 3rd

I've only had slippage once, never came back. I would try a new belt. Can you see if it is glazed on the underside of the belt? Has this problem been there since the Procharger was installed?

i got the car with the charger on it but it wasnt that bad at first and has started after the winter it seems like. i have to get a belt from procharger right?

Get the belts from Auto parts store. I like the ones with cross cut grooves, like the Gatorback. Is yours stock six groove pulley, or eight? You probably have to take the charger off to get the belt off, so watch how it's installed (spacers and washers and such). And if you can't see any numbers on the belt for size, just measure it. Should be around 108" give or take a few inches, depending on your pulley size.

i am pretty sure its an 8 rib.. i wasnt sure if i culd get an 8 rib at an auto store but thanks for all the help and info.
