Just installed a Canton 7 qt. Notice that there are no provisions for low oil sending unit. Will I get a light at the dash??

Oil sending unit is on the block not in the pan.

low oil sending unit is in the rubber grommet that goes into the side of some fox oil pans, the pressure sender unit is right by the filter. you are talking about a different sensor.

i wouldn't give a **** about my oil light as long as my pressure is good, you have two extra quarts, if the motor eats them between oil changes you'll notice it on the ground or out the tailpipes.

Just take the bulb out if the light is on. Oil pressure is the only one that matters.

My FRPP pan doesnt have it for my 351 and i dont think the stock motor had it either... but i do know the low oil light came on once when i had it. So i might of just missed it when i took it apart... that was a few years back.
