Never noticed a leak until the other day. This is what I'm seeing on the passenger side floorpan near the cat. Any advice as to where to begin looking would be greatly appreciated. (It's a 93 5.0 LX w/77k and I dropped the tranny a couple weeks ago to replace the clutch if that means anything)

Thanks in advance

From the other side of the frame (still passenger side)

You need to bypass that yesterday. That bad boy will keep leaking until you have no coolant left, and rotting your carpet and floor board out.

Its pretty easy to bypass.

bypass and dry up all that coolant. actually pull up the carpet and dry it up. I didn't know mine was leaking for quite a while after I bought my car, and my passenger side floorboard is almost completely rusted through. doesn't help that the car was sitting for 5 years either.

The odd thing is that my carpet isn't wet. Still the heater core?

I believe it's a 3/4 and 5/8 adapter needed to bypass...correct?
It's leaking from the AC drain hole on the firewall. That's where mine leaked from.

You could try a stop leak product to get by for now.
My rad sprang a leak this winter and I threw in a stop leak product and it stopped the leak.

Too cold here to replace a rad so come spring I will replace the rad and flush the system.

If it's on the outside, maybe you got lucky, and its one of the heater core hoses leaking! I'd still check under the carpet to be safe though.

Hey guys, y'all are awesome for the comments. Looks like "kd7cwg" hit the nail on the head...leaking inlet heater core hose (3/4"). Replaced it and looks to be drying up on the pan. Of course it decided to rain randomly and now the whole belly of the car is wet...
