I replaced the fuel pump , fuel filter and ccrm I'm getting 13volts to the fuel pump when I hit the Schrader valve there is no pressure when I have my wife turn the key to the on position I can't hear the pump run ear by the filler neck with no gas cap or ear on the gas tank it self

I'm at a loss here need help

Sounds like a bad fuel pump relay or fuse. I'm not familiar with the 3.8L, but I'd check the fuse first, if it's good try having your wife turn the key on while you hold your finger on the relay. It should click when turned on. If it does click, it could still be bad, so I'd either swap it with another (less important) relay from the fuse box, or just replace it to be sure.

Best of luck to you. Let us know how it turns out.

are you getting 13volts at the pump when the circuit is energized?

the connector must be plugged in, and you back probe the connector.

in order to get power at the pump, the relay and fuse, must be good.

Sorry about that. Somehow I missed the 13V at the pump part, so it's obviously not a relay or fuse. So if you're not getting fuel to the Schrader valve, either you have a plugged line somewhere along the way, or a bad pump. not much else it can be. I'd pull the pump and check all the hoses. Maybe one has popped off or has a tear in it causing the fuel to simply dump back in the tank. (I'm assuming the pump is running?, yes?) If the pump is not running, check to make sure you have a good ground. If that checks out, and the pump is not running, you have a bad pump.

Hope this helps.

If your getting power at the plug but the pump isn't priming then I'd say you have a bad pump. I had pump issues on my last car. I put the pump into a bucket of fuel and then energized it and checked it that way.

Or you don't have ground !!!! 13 volts is just voltage potential without ground
we have to assume the poster has their leads at both the power and ground of the pump connector

but it wouldn't be the first time, someone incorrectly performs elec tests.
