Okay guys, it looks like I'm going to be working on my valvetrain soon. I've had rocker noise since I did the headswap, but it's becoming noticably louder, especially in the last few days. I'm hoping it's just a rocker, so I'm planning on getting a new set (right now I'm using Scorpion 1.6's). Could be a lifter, but I sure hope not, I don't want to do the heads again already :-(. I've already re-adjusted the rockers three times...

I'm looking to find which rockers people seem to have the best experience with. I want to make this motor reliable for daily duty.

It's possible you might have a bad rocker, but it sounds more likely that they need to be adjused if they are the stud mount types. That or you didn't install the correct shims with pedestal mount style. Scorpions are very stout pieces and I can't recall anybody complaining about problems with them. Check that before you go and spend money on new ones.
