Hey everyone.
I'm new.
While I'm still a big GM fan, I like just about anything with wheels, and the Mustang is certainly an exceptional car.

I know quite a bit about the Gen III V8 motor that GM uses now (the LS1/LS6) and want to "broaden my horizons" and have started getting into the Mod Motor a little more.
I was just curious as to what the fastest or faster naturally aspirated 4v Cobra motors are making power wise and what kinda ET/Traps they're seeing with displacement NOT being a factor. Also, how big and radical do some of these motors get? I see a lot of 300ci, 318ci strokers from SHM, but are there any stroked 5.4L DOHC motors out there that are pushing around 7.0L's?
TIA.

I cant answer all your questions but I can tell you that the design of the OHC motor will not allow for a stroked 5.4 to reach the 7.0L range. The recent artical in MM&FF explains it better than I could. They shortened the sleeves in the cylenders and therefore doesnt allow for a large amount of CU out of a stroked motor.
