OK..my car is having some idle problems (arnt all stangs! )! Anyways it'll idle fine and all of a sudden when i come to a light it'll rev up to 1900 rpm and sit there..i can give it a few shots and it'll still sit there...so i'll drive around for a while..it'll stay like that...BUT if i shut the car off and start it back up again it'll idle normal! For a while...until it starts to do it again!

I checked my TPS and it was at .86! So i bumped it up to .98..idle stayed the same up around 1900...so i brought it down to .96...idled good for a while..then started idling at 1900 again!

But again..as soon as i shut the car off it'll go back down to normal!

ANy idea's?

Now my car is an 88 SD with a cam...but i dont think the cam would cause this kinda problem! Cause I had the car for a month before it started doing this problem!

clean the 2 ten pin molex connectors on the back side of the intake. Somtimes you need to tighten the pins for good contact.

Yup, do a search on "10-pin" and you'll find all you need and then some.
