It's from an 83GT.

1352-066

I looked it up here and it shows AWSF 1984

Any ideas what it means, or what it was from?

The particular AMC tailhousing needed for the "no cutting" installation has the Tail Housing casting number 13-52-066-901 ( on left side of tail housing). Information supplied by Jim Morrison is that this housing (tailshaft) was used on 2 WD 1982-1983 AMC Concord or Spirit.

The 1983 Mustang V8 T-5 is 13-52-034, The 1984 Mustang V8 T-5 is 13-52-065.

Numbers off the case don't help much. Is it a 4 speed, 5 speed?

They did put SROD trannies in Mustangs in the early 80's, I'm not exactly sure when they stopped

SROD's until mid '83, then a $40.00 credit for the rest of the model year.

The one in the car is a T5, just to clear things up.
